I'm back! Sorry for the lack of updates!

I'll be making calls to all of you soon, but I guess I should just post the details of the chalet stuff for those whom I’m unable to contact.

Firstly, it’s the collection of money. I’ll just post the names who have yet to pay. So be sure to do so asap, or bring the money during the barbeque day itself! Please remember to bring, cause’ we’re forking out our own money to pay for you in advance.

Great news. King finally managed to book the chalet, at the wrong date though. Haha.
So the chalet’s from 7th – 9th November 2008(Friday-Sunday) And so the BBQ will be brought forward to Friday instead.

Just to let you guys know what’s coming up for the chalet during the November holidays.

Zhixian has yet to book the chalet, but will do so soon within this week, if I’m not wrong. So I really hope he’ll be able to get it!

We haven’t really planned of the food part, but not to worry as there’ll definitely be food.

I guess this is all. Yeah, so just enjoy the marking days! ;)
PS. Made little changes to the cbox tagboard. Not much difference though, but the colours are more obvious now.

Hello! I know only a few of you would read this, but I'd just update on the news for the class chalet.

Super good news!
Zhixian can book the chalet for free, which means you guys will only have to pay for the food. So I'll just do a rough amount after I get the list of who's going and who's not. And it'll definitely be less than $15, thanks to ZhiXian! Hahaha.

Oh, the date's confirmed. It would be on 8th November to 10th November. Saturday-Monday.
We're actually thinking of having the BBQ on Saturday, and maybe the theme park on Sunday? :D

hey there.

We've cheacked the rates and decided that the best chalet to book is the one at downtown east. So it's gonna cost about $330 altogether, for 3 day, 2 nights (not inclusive of food).

So to solve the food problem, we were thinking that we'll just do pot luck. Or if not, we have to PAY for the barbeque pit and food. So your choice.

So we're gonna pass a paper around the class to ask for your decisions as soon as possible.

It's gonna be at pasir ris, short distance from the mrt to downtown east, but there's a shuttle bus so no worries. It's double storey, but only the upstairs has air-con. We can go to escape theme park probably during the second day of the stay. So another reason for you guys to come.

Wait for the paper on tuesday! =)

Hey there. This is regarding the class chalet we're deciding to organise.

Only a few of you actually commented on whether you'd want Faridah to book the chalet at Aloha Loyang and pay $12.50.

So, I've decided to add a poll. Please vote, so that we're able to ensure that majority of you even want a class chalet.

OH! I've actually check the rates for the chalet booking at Downtown East. And if you want, we can book a 3D2N chalet, plus BBQ; each person might have to pay the most $15 each, whether you come or not.

Secondary Two Express/Normal Academic English Language June Holiday Assignment

Introduction
The Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is Singapore’s first and only protected wetland reserve. An abundance of tropical flora and fauna can be found here. The Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve was set up with the purpose of education, conservation, research and recreation.

Mission
Imagine that you and your group members are volunteers of the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Your group has been designated to prepare a presentation that will help to educate primary school students on the importance of the conservation of wildlife.

Remember the following:

Target audience: Primary school students
Objective of presentation: To allow the primary school students to appreciate the need of environmental conservation
Type of Presentation: a skit using puppetry

You have attended the Term 1 EL Speech and Drama Course (Puppetry). Therefore, you are to make use of the knowledge that you have been acquired during the course to prepare a presentation that would captivate the attention of your target audience.

In your presentation, you should:
-Make your own paper puppets (e.g. birds, flowers, characters, etc)
-Incorporate music and sound effects if necessary
-Make use of props to enhance your role play

Reflection
Each member in the group is also required to submit a reflection of the fieldtrip. Below are some guiding questions for your reflection:

-What did I do during the fieldtrip to Sungei Buloh?
-What is the most memorable part of the fieldtrip?
-What are two things that I have learnt?

You are to prepare a skit based on the theme of Environmental Conservation. Work in the groups that you have been assigned for the Sungei Buloh fieldtrip. Hey, what the teachers are saying about our class is true and I really think that we should think about it and change our attitude in class.
We’re all quite sure that the drastic change in our class behaviour was because Mr. Ngoh’s our form teacher right? Well, Mr. Ngoh really doesn’t deserve such torture you know.

And you all are always complaining about how you don’t understand his teachings. Shouldn’t you at least take some initiative to try and listen instead of making such a din during class? You can form a group or something and stay after school to ask him questions.

I know you all must be thinking why am I talking all these, it’s because I don’t want you all to regret at the end of the year. I’m sure if we don’t change now, our results will drop as well. Ohwell, It's all over.
We don’t know if it’s on purpose that you didn’t come today or not, but you’re being way too unreasonable. We, as students have to even pay on behalf of you first and you being informed that we’re getting the jerseys later by afternoon, didn't come to school today. You friggin’ delayed for like…weeks to pay them. Seriously, don’t order them and give us your word saying that you’ll pay for the others. You're really making life difficult for us. We wouldn’t even get you yours, had we known you were going to delay until the collection of the Jerseys.

You might probably ignore this or something, but we’re so damn pissed off already, after your repeatedly, “I’ll give you the next day.”

WTH PAN. I don’t know if you’re just embarrassed to say you have no money or you simply are trying to get away with a free shirt. But you acted BIG SHOT and say you will pay for two of us. Honestly, we thought you wouldn't keep to your word. We were expecting you to say, something like:"Oh, i was just joking. Of course I won’t pay for you." But no, you really stuck to your words miraculously!!! And whenever we ask you for money, you would say:"Oh, tomorrow" or just totally ignore us.

And it’s been weeks since we first told you and you still haven’t given us the damn money.Today was the collection, and you didn’t come to school. You know how freakin' pissed off we were? Coincidence? I think not.

Just say you don’t have the stupid money to pay. Plus, you still go and say that you will pay for two other people. That’s 60 bucks YOU KNOW THAT? So Yunling had to give her own 40 bucks and Davin and Shuwei 10 bucks each. And now, they will have to wait for YOU to come back with the money to pay them back. Which may be, according to this rate, MANY WEEKS LATER?!

And if we are, the amount I've calculated[The 4 includes the one for Mr. Ngoh]
, each person would have to pay [(20 x 4) ÷34=2.40]

I wouldn't be asking Mr. Pan to pay, since he's already paying for the other two jerseys.

Now the problem is whether you guys are willing to pay another $2.40 for the others, provided that they want it.

Please bring SGD. 20.60 on Monday! Do spread the news as we need to collect the cash ASAP so that we're able to pay the money to them. You must be wondering what the extra $0.60 is for right. It’s is for the Jersey we’re getting for Mr. Ngoh. I guess you guys won’t mind right. We’ll give him a surprise, so you guys can help by keeping your mouths shut about this in front of him okay?

Anyway, we’ve found supplier already. It’s cheaper and we get to create our own “logo” on the top left of the shirt. (:

Black’s the base colour and orange’s the font colour. The shirt’s pretty awesome…I guess.

Hello. I've passed down the list earlier this morning regarding on who wants the Jersey.
Do note that we’re going to have our register numbers on each shirt. Please try not to change to avoid any confusion.

Some people might not be aware that I’ve passed the paper round class, so do tell me if you want it. I would confirm the price again as I’ve forgotten to add the delivery fees. The delivery fee isn’t that expensive, I can assure you. It would definitely be less than 1 buck.

Anyway, those who change their minds do contact me to cancel your name. I wouldn’t want you guys scolding me when I’m collecting the money or something. Lol. The average price would be SGD. 21-23 as not all 40 are getting the shirts.

I’ll get your sizes soon, when supplier confirms the fonts and everything. It might take some time, as there might be a sample Jersey. I’m not too sure about that yet.

Hey there. I've got like rough images of the Jerseys/ Dri-fit Tees already. I've contacted the supplier and the average amount per tee is about SGD. 20-25.There's three samples so far, I'm trying to contact others and try to get the cheaper deals.

The colours I'm thinking of getting is actually Black and Grey, since most of the shirts have these two colour combinations. It's just the different patterns. So, just tell me which design you prefer. [Refer to the bottom]
Please please give your suggestions cause' I'm afraid some of you might not like it.

I'll try to get more designs/samples if possible. But there's a limit to what designs and cheap prices I can get, considering that the suppliers factories are at another side of Singapore.
